pacemaker info needed…

Hello.

I have a reasearch project for my senior design biomedical engineering
class.  I need the following information about pacemakers…

1.  Types of pacing waveforms used
2.  Electrical current & voltage used in pacing heart
3.  Duration of pacing waveforms
4.  Materials used in pacing leads
5.  Materials used to package pacemaker leads to prevent adverse reactions
    within the body
6.  Materials used to seal pacing circuits
7.  Materials used to package an implanted pacemaker to  prevent adverse
    reaction in the body
8.  Types of Batteries used
9.  Duration of Batteries used with current pacemakers

IF you  can give any of the needed information or advise me where to check
next I will be very grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Sherry

    A good reference is

Wester (ed) 1995.  Design of Cardiac Pacemakers.  IEEE Press, Piscataway, NJ.
    ISBN 0-7803-1134-5.  Lib Congr # RC684.P3D47 1995.

    Sherry,
I have no info to help, but am in need of some info on pace makers and
staph infection.  My father has both and is very ill.  We are having a
hard time getting to the bottom of this problem.  I need to understand
everything about pace makers from assembly to installation.  I have heard
that pace makers are also remanufactured and sent to third world
countries.  If you could help I would appreciate it.  If I find anything
out that will help you, I will forward it to you.
