Does anyone have any text on the nature or treatment of Premature Atrial Contractions?

Premature atrial contractions are common ectopic beats which are characterized by a narrow wave form (unless someone has a pre-existing bundle branch block) and lack of compensatory pause after the beat. The p wave may or may not look abnormal. These beats are common, of generally little pathologic significance, and often do not require treatment. They may be associated with certain drugs, use of stimulants/caffeine, lack of sleep, electrolyte imbalances, or surgical stress. Digoxin is used to suppress them when treatment is indicated, but several other drugs probably could be used, too. I hardly ever treat them…
