I had my valve surgery at St. Francis Hospital on Long Island, NY and can
honestly say I was totally satisfied with the surgeon, and the hospital
staff. I was in congestive heart failure when I was brought into the
hospital and after an angiogram was told that the valve was so far gone
that if I did not have the valve replacement I had less than two years to
live. After getting at least one more opinion, while I stayed in the
hospital, I went ahead and 16 months later feel like a new person and am
able to do things that I had not in several years. Good luck.
Blanche
